General Information and Conditions
FISHING PACKAGE INCLUDES shared accommodations with private bathroom, six days of fly-out fishing, qualified, experienced pilot/guide with you each day, shared daily use of float equipped aircraft, full use of boats and motors strategically placed on various rivers for fishing on Lake Clark, daily cabin service, three meals daily featuring Alaskan cuisine, camp style lunch, complimentary dinner wine, preparation of fish for shipment to Anchorage, care of trophy fish for mounting.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION: Your prepaid trip is refundable in full only when the space being canceled is refilled by the cancelling party. Should Alaska’s Wilderness Lodge resell the cancelled space, then a handling fee of 20% will be assessed and the difference refunded. In no event will a refund be made if the cancellation is made within ninety (90) days prior to your scheduled arrival date.
FISHING PACKAGE DEPOSIT: A deposit of half of the fishing package cost is required to confirm space. Full payment is due ninety (90) days prior to guest arrival at the lodge. For reservations less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival, full payment is required for confirmation.
FLYING CONDITIONS/CHARTER SERVICE: Scheduled flights are subject to weather conditions. All pilots and maintenance personnel shall have the final authority on matters concerning safety and propriety. Neither the charter service nor Alaska’s Wilderness Lodge, Inc. shall be liable to the other or to the guests for any delays due to weather, airport conditions, and unserviceability of the like; however, the charter service shall use its best efforts to affect Alaska’s Wilderness Lodge’s transportation needs in a reasonable, timely fashion. Neither the charter service nor Alaska’s Wilderness Lodge, Inc. shall be liable for any additional hotel, meals or other expenses.
FLYING CONDITIONS/Alaska’s Wilderness Lodge Aircraft: The daily fly-out fishing will be subject to weather conditions. Every effort will be made to meet these flights in a reasonable timely fashion. Should weather conditions prohibit flying, then boats and motors are always available for fishing on Lake Clark.
NOT INCLUDED IN FISHING PACKAGE: Transfers, personal fishing clothing and waders, personal items, gratuities, alcoholic beverages, and other items not mentioned.
TACKLE SHOP: Alaska’s Wilderness Lodge has a fully equipped tackle shop. Items are available for purchase. We gladly accept checks, cash and VISA/MC for items purchased in the Tackle & Gift Shops. We also have a limited number of rods and reels for your use. If you are not planning to bring your own rod and reel, please be sure to complete the guest questionnaire indicating as such.
INSURANCE AND LIABILITY COVERAGE: Alaska’s Wilderness Lodge, LLC. carries a minimum of $300,000 per seat coverage. We recommend that any guest wishing to have a higher amount of protection purchase additional coverage. Alaska’s Wilderness Lodge, LLC., limits its liability to the insurance limits set out above and advised each guest that Alaska’s Wilderness Lodge, LLC. shall be held harmless for any loss arising out of activities disclosed in this package in excess of the amount of insurance specified above. We also recommend guests purchase the following insurance coverage – trip cancellation, baggage and personal provision, accident, medical and sickness.
